This weekend will mark our first performance with a 10-piece orchestra! Rehearsals are underway and we'll be playing at Independent's Day (Downtown Columbus, OH) on Saturday, September 17th at 9:15pm on the ABR Stage. This event is all ages and admission is FREE!

The 2nd Annual Full Belly Food Drive at Skully's (Friday, Jan. 21)

Join us at Skully's for the 2nd Annual Full Belly Food Drive on Friday, January 21st. Our goal is to donate over 1,000 lbs. of goods to the NNEMAP Food Pantry here in Columbus. At least 3 non-perishable items or $5 will get you in the door. We will be joined by Town Monster, Maza Blaska, and George Elliot Underground. The Receiver is set to go on at 11pm.

CD Release, New Reviews, and a WOSU Spot!

CD Release time is here and we can't wait to share the new music in a live setting. Tomorrow night will be a special night for us. The new album is finally seeing the light of day and we're going to be performing some songs for the first time. We've also invited Sean Gardner (Melty Melty, Winter Makes Sailors) to add guitar, keyboard, and percussion for the occasion. This is a first for us and we're terribly excited. Also, this week The Other Paper and Columbus Alive published reviews of "Length of Arms" and WOSU is currently running a segment on the award winning "Visitor" video. You can check it all out here...

"Length of Arms" CD Release Party!!!

Please come out and help us celebrate the local release of our second album, "Length of Arms" on Friday, May 8th at Skully's Music Diner. Hotel Eden will be opening the show, then we'll play a full set including most of the new album, and Kelly Warner (formerly of Lab Rats) will be closing out the night with a DJ set. It's gonna be a blast! We'll have the new album and new t-shirts available for purchase at the show. Music starts at 10pm. Hope to see you there!!

So we have some exciting news! We just finished the music video for our new song, "Visitor", and you can watch it by clicking on the link below. This video was made for an Ohio film competition, and we're trying to get as many positive ratings and views as possible! The public votes on the videos, and the top 10 rated and viewed videos will be judged to determine a winner. So please, if you have time, check it out and rate it! Thanks to everyone who came out to our show at Skully's last weekend. The Whiles and Flotation Walls were fantastic and we were so happy to finally be playing out again. Eric Bros came out and shot some pics. Check them out here.

We have an album title!

So it's getting near crunch time for getting this album done. We've been stirring over album titles for the last few weeks and have finally decided on "Length of Arms". It'll also be the title of one of the songs on the album. The search for album artwork has also begun.

Casey has started recording his vocal tracks, a process that can be extremely stressful (nothing a couple sips of red wine can't fix!). After auditioning a handful of microphones, we decided on two different ones to group together, presenting both clarity and a rich vintage tone. The sounds have been amazing. Once the vocals are done we're left with just a few finishing touches.

Studio Update

Wanted to touch base and let everybody know we're right in the thick of recording our follow-up album. We've been practically locked in the studio since mid-July and things couldn't be going any better. We, along with our producer, Mike Landolt and engineer, Fred Blitzer have been working extremely hard in getting the most out of our performances and capturing the mood for each song. It's been an amazing experience thus far and we should be wrapping things up in the next couple weeks. We can't wait to share our new songs with everyone and finally play out again! See everyone soon...
